- The Paquiers path circuit |

Are you tempted by a route for the family,
with a few technical passages near the start? Then take the Paquiers
path route ; it climbs under the shade along the Bugeon stream.
You will enjoy a superb view on the Demoiselles Coiffées (earth
pillars), the Belledonne and Grande Rousses massifs. An eyeful
of memories !

Departure in front of the Tourist Office in
Saint-François Longchamp 1650.
Take the road coming down from the Madeleine parking lot, and
on to the Paquiers path, a nature path with a few technical passages
near the beginning.
Then, at the picnic area in l'Epalud, do not miss the distant
view on the earth pillars (Les Demoiselles Coiffées), the Belledonne
and Grandes Rousses massifs (L'Etendard, les Aiguilles d'Arves,...).
You can also consult the landscape-reading table and discover
the geological phenomenon of differential erosion. The cultural
side of the route !
The return trip takes local road 213 to the crossroads at the
entrance of Saint-François Longchamp 1450 m. Then follow the road
to the sports center of Les Longes, and the Tourist Office where
you started from.

or from RN 6, La Chambre roundabout, then towards St-François
Longchamp/ Col de La Madeleine via D 213.
